This weekend I'm going to put up a tutorial on how I make my paper flowers. It's a quick and easy way to add dimension to your scrapbook pages. Maybe I should have ordered that tripod over the summer...it would really come in handy for this tutorial!
We put up our Christmas lights and the tree today. We had to buy a smaller/skinnier tree to fit in our downsized house. I think it fits perfectly and looks so pretty. It feels so cozy that I just want to curl up on the couch with some steaming hot chocolate!
This is really the first year I've had my own Christmas decorations like this. The stockings and the mantel decorations are all new. I just wanted to do something with the season and decided that the fireplace area would my "seasonal" area for decorations. Can you imagine all the decorations I'm going to have to buy now?
In other news...my latest mini album was inspired by the dark, rich Christmas colors on the mantel. This one is hot off the presses. I fell in love with one of the Seasonal stacks at Joanns (what do I not fall in love with there?), color coordinating is much more fun this way. I used lots of embellishments in here, too.
What are some of your latest projects? And have you got your Christmas decorations up at home?
