Almost Turkey Day...

Thanksgiving is just around the corner.

It doesn't seem like last Thanksgiving was already a YEAR ago...where does the time go?  Ah, but I do love this time of year.  Just a little bite in the air, the leaves turning gold.  Makes me want to bake yummy things.

What/Who are you going to be this Halloween?

Loved making this little baby boy scrapbook album.  I used a new technique so the pages are more interactive than my normal mini albums.  It makes it just a bit more fun.  =)

I've been so busy lately...but not with crafting (boo!) and I'm having a heck of a time finding TIME to accomplish all the projects I want to accomplish.  

So here's to taking it a little bit at a time...

More Army Colors...

I got back to making a Deployment Survival Kits scrapbook mini album in my original color scheme...lots of army green, beige, and black.  Back to basics!  ;)

New Little Number

So, I just finished this cute little number.  I picked up some new paper and just couldn't wait to put it to good use!  The good news is, I have plenty more.  ;) 

I've been busy with other things at the moment...non-craft things, unfortunately...
...but you gotta do what you gotta do, right? Hopefully there'll be more crafting time in my future. 

Favor Tags

 

One of those good feelings:  When you find the PERFECT use for those half-sheets of cardstock you thought you'd never use!  And the dollar bin stamps at the craft store you just couldn't pass up?  Oh, yes.  

I especially love the colors of these tags, too.  Bright blue and pink, I'm going to start using those colors together more often. 

Red, White & Blue!

I don't know about you, but I love making red, white & blue scrapbook albums.  I used my Silhouette for the title and the embellishments.  That thing has been getting a lot of use lately!

Summer Fun

Feels like it took me forEVER to get this one done!

I used my Silhouette a lot in this album, more than in any other album I've done so far.  Next I want to experiment with the sketch pens and the print&cut feature.

Summer Fun Scrapbook Layout

I don't usually make summer pages but I don't know why!  They are fun to do and eye-catching with all the bright, bold colors.  I cut virtually everything out with my Silhouette (except the circles, I just used a punch for those).  I didn't realize that with my last software update they had phased out the blades with the colored tips.  I didn't know WHY the thing wouldn't CUT...and of course right when I really needed it, because I was helping a friend make her wedding programs, is when I discovered this unfortunate situation (sorry!)

I ordered the new ratchet blade and let me tell you, best thing ever.  The only thing I don't really like is the little piece that you need to actually adjust the blade - I just think it can be very easily lost.  Especially in a craft room where there are lots of little things everywhere...other than that, the new blade is great and very easy to use.

Baby Girl Pages for an 8x8 Album

Since I do love making baby things...

I made a set of 10 baby girl pages for an 8x8 album.  I have so many ideas in my head that it's hard to find time to bring all of them to life!  ...but I'm working on it.  =)  I also discovered that these flowers I picked up from Michael's make really great embellishments for just about any kind of page.  Oh, and titles were all cut with my Silhouette.  So useful!
